Mountain Top Day Camp has been moving through a season of leadership transition over the past couple of years, and we’re excited to share the next step in that journey. Our new Director of Camp, Dot Reyes, will be leading the way forward, supported by two Assistant Directors, Jaimie Silva and Karla Cordero.
Together, this team has been thoughtfully refreshing the camp experience—bringing in new ideas, expanded learning opportunities, and meaningful adventures, all while honoring the traditions and spirit that generations of campers have cherished.
As we look ahead, we also want to take a moment to look back with gratitude. Julie May has given years of heartfelt dedication and service to the girls who grew under her leadership. Her impact is woven into the fabric of Mountain Top, and we are deeply thankful for the care and commitment she brought to our community.
Come be a part of the Gilroy Girl Scouts Mountain Top Day Camp community. We’ll spend our days making new friends, creating crafts, playing games, going on scavenger hunts, learning to cook simple outdoor snacks, and discovering all kinds of adventures together.
Join girls from across our area for an unforgettable week as our journey runs from July 13–17, 2026.
We can’t wait to welcome you into the fun and friendship of camp.
Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. They explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.
Supported by adult volunteers and mentors right here in our community, as well as millions of alums around the globe, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place.
At Girl Scouts of Northern California, over 50,000 girls and 31,000 adults take part in Girl Scout programs each year. We tailor our programs for the developmental, educational, emotional, and social needs of girls at six levels:
Girl Scout Daisy (grades K-1)
Girl Scout Brownie (grades 2-3)
Girl Scout Junior (grades 4-5)
Girl Scout Cadette (grades 6-8)
Girl Scout Senior (grades 9-10)
Girl Scout Ambassador (grades 11-12)
